Windows will warn you the first time

The direct Windows download is not code-signed, so SmartScreen shows a blue panel saying Windows protected your PC. Click More info, then Run anyway. This happens once, on the first install of each version. The Microsoft Store version below has no such warning.

The store versions install cleanly — no warnings, no Terminal — and update themselves. Same app, same trial.

What happens after 15 days

Nothing you've made is ever locked away. Opening, editing and saving your projects is never blocked — license or no license, at any point — and neither is importing a script or putting it on the presenter's screen.

What the trial ending does take away is the network page, the phone desk, the image, screen and video cards, presenters, presets, exporting, and every tab past the first. A small mark also appears on the presenter's screen. See Pricing for what each tier includes.
